The Likert Prize

Congratulations to Madeline Ong, our 2018 Likert Paper Award winner!

Every two years since 1997-1998, ICOS has hosted a competition for the Likert Dissertation Paper Award. This award is given to the author of a paper based on a Michigan dissertation that makes the most significant contribution to organizational studies. The Likert Dissertation Award is a gift of the Foundation for Research on Human Behavior, a foundation created by the late Rensis Likert. The gift is intended to honor and encourage the scholarly publication of the dissertation research of recent University of Michigan Ph.D.s in organizational studies.

The Likert Dissertation Paper Award is closed until Fall 2019.

Eligibility:
To be eligible, an entrant must have received their Ph.D. at Michigan by TBD, and have participated in an ICOS dissertation poster session. The deadline for the competition will be TBD. The paper can be published or unpublished. It can be of any length. The one requirement is that the paper be a direct product of the dissertation. To enter, submit your paper via email to Jen Mason (masonlj@umich.edu) by TBD.

Prize:
The winner of the Likert Dissertation Paper Award will present the prize paper at ICOS on TBD. The prize includes a cash award of $1,000 and travel expenses to come to Ann Arbor.

We hope you will enter this exciting competition!
